Appointments & Booking

Redefine Women’s Health is located within Fred McKay House on the grounds of John Flynn Private Hospital in Tugun, on the Southern Gold Coast. Our clinic is conveniently positioned to support women from across the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads, Kingscliff, Casuarina and the wider Northern New South Wales region.

Our multidisciplinary team includes specialist obstetricians and gynaecologists, a Women’s Health GP, psychologist, pelvic health physiotherapist and acupuncturist, providing personalised care in one convenient location on the Southern Gold Coast.

Yes. Telehealth is available for eligible patients and suitable appointment types. Please contact our admin team on (07) 5690 2777 for more information. 

In many cases, yes. If your healthcare needs fall within one practitioner’s scope of practice, you can continue seeing the same practitioner throughout your care journey, allowing you to build a trusted and ongoing relationship.

Where additional support may be beneficial, you also have the option to access other services within our multidisciplinary team, including specialist medical care, Women’s Health GP services and allied health support. Any involvement of other practitioners is guided by your individual needs and preferences.

This approach allows for both continuity of care and access to a broader network of women’s health expertise when required.

Yes. Redefine Women’s Health was created to provide a more connected approach to women’s healthcare by bringing together a multidisciplinary team of specialists and allied health practitioners in one location.

Depending on your individual needs, your care may involve support from our specialist obstetricians and gynaecologists, Women’s Health GP, psychologist, pelvic health physiotherapist or acupuncturist. While each practitioner provides care within their own area of expertise, our shared philosophy and collaborative approach help ensure your healthcare experience feels coordinated, personalised and centred around your goals.

Whether you are planning a pregnancy, navigating a gynaecological concern, seeking support during the postpartum period or looking after your long-term wellbeing, our team can work together to support you through different stages of life and health.

Of course! In fact, it is encouraged.

Please bring:

– Your GP referral
– Medicare Card 
– Private health insurance card if applicable 
– Any previous test results or relevant medical history

Longer appointments are standard at Redefine Women’s Health. We ensure adequate time to answer all questions and formulate a plan with you. The specific appointment duration is entirely dependent on the reason for your visit.

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. A fee may apply for missed appointments or late cancellations.

Billing & Fees 

We are a private billing practice. 

Fees vary depending on the type and length of the appointment. Our admin team can provide fee information upon booking.

Yes. We process Medicare claims electronically so you receive your rebate directly into your bank account.

Some services may incur extra fees. These will be explained at the time of booking.

We accept payment by EFTPOS for credit and debit cards. Payment is required on the day of your appointment.

We accept most major health funds and our admin team are happy to provide further information. 

Obstetric Care

Yes, you will need a referral from your GP or healthcare provider to see either of our obstetrician gynaecologists. This means you will also be able to access any Medicare rebates if applicable. 

We partner with John Flynn Private Hospital on the Southern Gold Coast.

Yes – we offer health checks, screening and pregnancy planning. Visit our services page for more detailed information. 

We prioritise continuity.

Yes, our obstetricians have specialist training for the management of high risk or complex pregnancies and collaborate with other specialists when needed.

Gynaecology Care

We treat all gynaecological conditions such as pelvic pain, fibroids, PCOS, endometriosis, period concerns, menopause and many more.

Yes, our comprehensive consultations cover personalised hormone and non-hormone treatment options.
